Darrell Camilletti - Owner                                                                

Born in Steamboat Springs, Darrell has spent his entire life in the Yampa Valley. He graduated in 1969 from Moffat County High School and went on to earn a Business Administration Degree with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado in 1973. Darrell began his career in the insurance industry in 1975 with Farm Bureau Insurance, where he worked his way in management and sales over the next 22 years. In 1998, he established Mountain West Insurance & Financial Services, LLC, an independent insurance agency, in Hayden, Colorado. Mountain West has since expanded and now has offices in Meeker, Craig, and Steamboat Springs.

Through the years, community involvement has been an important aspect of Darrell’s life. He served on the Hayden School Board for four years, eight years on the Solandt Hospital Board, and currently serves as a board member for the Boys and Girls Club of Craig. Darrell is married to Carol, has nine children and seven grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family, and being involved in agriculture and the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado.

 

Shane Camilletti - Commercial Agent

 

A native of the Yampa Valley, Shane began his career with Mountain West in July of 2000.  Shane is currently a commercial lines producer with the agency.  He earned his CISR designation (Certified Insurance Service Representative) in 2001 and his CIC designation (Certified Insurance Counselor) in 2006.  Outside of Mountain West, he enjoys all types of sports and outdoor activities...especially golf.  He is active in the community as a volunteer baseball coach and is currently serving as the Vice President of the Moffat Basketball Association.  He is also a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.  Shane is married to Sandy and has two children, Dylon, and Makayla.   

Joe Nieslanik - Commercial Agent
  
Joe is an insurance representative in the Meeker office serving commercial insurance clients of which include many farm and ranch accounts.  A Meeker native, Joe has a long family history in Western Colorado. He started his insurance career with Mountain West in 2000 after spending a number of years ranching.

In 2002, Joe obtained his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation which brings depth of knowledge in addition to his practical experience when working with commercial accounts. As an active member of the community, Joe has served on the ERBM Parks & Recreation Board since 2000 and has chaired the Board since 2004. He has also served on the boy's basketball coaching staff at Meeker High School, Barone Middle School, and AAU programs over the last 10 years. Joe is married to Ellen and they have three children.

 Jeff Camilletti - Commercial Agent
 
Jeff graduated from Mesa State College in December of 1995 with a degree in business.  He started working for Colorago Farm Bureau in January of 1996.  Jeff started Mountain West with Darrell Camilletti in January of 1998.  Jeff received the CIC designation in 2002.  He started pursuing a master's degree in January of 2007 which he will complete in August 2008.  Jeff lives in Steamboat Springs and he has 3 children, 1 girl and 2 boys.
 
 
 
 
 Pete Pleasant - Commercial Agent
 

Pete graduated for Colorado College in January of 1962 with a degree in Business Administration.  He returned to Craig and started working in the insurance agency owned by his grandfather and uncle.  In April of 1964, he purchased an interest in the agency and four years later became the sole owner.  The agency was sold to Darrell Camilletti in January of 1999, and Pete took a work contract back to remain active in the Mountain West organization.  Pete likes to work with contract accounts and bonds.  Prior to 2000, Pete officiated high school and college football and basketball for over 35 years.  He enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, and spending time at his mountain cabin with family and friends.  Pete has two sons and four grandchildren.   

 

 

Mike Stephens - Commercial Agent/Operations Manager

Born in Colorado, Mike is excited to back in Craig, which is an area he has spent a considerable amount of his life. Mike graduated from Brigham Young University in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree. After graduation he worked in the financial services industry with Fidelity Investments and Morgan Stanley. He then attended Arizona State University receiving a Master’s in Business Administration is 2002. Since receiving his MBA, Mike has owned his own successful business and worked for Raytheon, Honeywell, and Protiviti. He also recently completed a degree in accounting from Arizona State University. Mike has been married since 1998, and has twin three-year olds and a one-year old.  He loves spending time outdoors, boating, and being with his family.

 

Debbie Montgomery - Commercial Lines Account Manager

Debbie was born in Denver and moved from Castle Rock, Colorado to Craig in 1973.  She graduated from Moffat County High School in 1989 and attended Laramie County Community College, graduating with an Associates of Applied Science in 1991. After college, she worked in the family business for six years before joining Mountain West in 2000.  Debbie received her insurance license in 2001 and holds the designation of CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative). Debbie currently works as a Commericial Lines Account Manager and is responsible for computer/program operations, and automation.   In 2002, she married her husband, TJ who works at Planet Powersports in Craig as Assistant Manager.  In 2003, they had their first son; and in 2006 they gave birth to their second son.  Debbie's future plans are to raise both boys in Moffat County.  She enjoys spending time outside with her family and cooking.

Anita Urbanoski - Commercial Lines Account Manager
 
Anita worked at Colorado Northwestern Community College as the Financial Operations Manager from March 1997 to November 2005 before coming to work for Mountain West.  She graduated from Northwest Oklahoma State University in May 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education/Business Administration.  Anita received her Colorado Insurance license in December of 2006.  She has lived in Craig since March 1979.  She and her husband have three daughters.  Anita enjoys crafting and spending time with her family.   

 

Sue Voloshin - Commercial Lines Account Manager 

Sue was born and raised in Craig, Colorado. She graduated from Moffat County High School in 1984 and then went on to earn a degree in Business Administration - Finance & Real Estate from Colorado State University in 1988. After college, she worked for First Security Leasing in Salt Lake City, Utah but decided to return to the area in 1993 where she took a job with Colowyo Coal Company. In 1996, she married Mark Voloshin, a local rancher, and they have three children, ages 9, 6, and 3. Sue joined Mountain West in June 2007 as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. She enjoys spending time with her family on the ranch and taking in many other activities the Yampa Valley has to offer.

 
 Jayme Armbruster - Commercial Lines Account Manager 
 
Jayme was born in Ohio and grew up in Upstate New York, where she had her first experience in the insurance industry working for Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield. She left New York for Southern California after meeting her husband Brent on a cruise. While in California, she managed a Medical Billing Service. In 1993, Jayme and her family came to Colorado on vacation and moved to Castle Rock four months later. She took a position with a multi-specialty clinic in Colorado Springs as the Accounts Receivable Manager. With her Medicare experience, she was able to obtain a position with a consulting firm in the Denver. She worked on a special project coordinating global pricing and cost containment for hospitals across the country vying for the Medicare designation as a Center of Excellence. After the project was completed, she went to Colorado Casualty Insurance Company working in the Accounting Department, then moving to the Personal Lines Underwriting Department. Four years ago, she and her family had an opportunity to move to the Yampa Valley where they spent a good deal of time hunting, camping and fishing. Jayme has three children,Curt is currently serving his country in the Navy, Tracy is a senior and Scott is a freshman at Hayden High School.
 
Scotia Pepping - Commercial Lines Account Manager
 
Scotia was raised in Littleton, Colorado and graduated in 2002 from Chatfield High School. She is currently working toward a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration specializing in Insurance via online classes through Regis University. Prior to working at Mountain West, Scotia worked for Continental Divide, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, for 4½ years. She began her married life to Jeremiah and her career at Mountain West in July of 2007. Scotia and Jeremiah, an aspiring guide & outfitter, both enjoy all the outdoor activities Northwest Colorado has to offer, especially fishing on the White River. Their children are two beautiful Labrador Retrievers. Scotia also likes to scrapbook and watch movies in her spare time.
 
 
 
 Megan Gregg - Personal Lines Agent
 
Born in Steamboat Springs, Megan is a native of the Yampa Valley. She graduated from Moffat County High School in 2000 and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Western State College in 2005. Megan joined the Mountain West team in 2005, and is a personal lines producer. She obtained her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation in 2006 and is now working towards obtaining her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor).  She enjoys outdoor activities, being active in the community, working out, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and truly enjoys the insurance industry.

 

Ashley Demos - Personal Lines Agent 

Ashley joined the Mountain West team in 2007, and is personal lines producer. She is a native of North Carolina but has lived in Colorado for 6 years.  Ashley graduated from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with a business management degree. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Colorado after completing a National Outdoor Leadership Course in Utah on the Green River. That is where she fell in love with the west and decided to make Colorado her new home.  As an avid outdoor enthusiast and former whitewater rafting guide, Ashley is excited to live and work in the Steamboat Springs community, especially at Mountain West Insurance & Financial Services.
 
 
 
 
Melaine Myers - Personal Lines Account Manager
 
Born in California, Melanie grew up in the multi-cultural state of New Mexico where she obtained her insurance license 18 years ago. Her insurance experience includes property and casualty as well as life and health. She obtained her ACSR (Accredited Customer Service Representative) designation in 2003 and is in the process of completing her C.I.C. (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation.
 
Melanie enjoys gardening, traveling, water skiing, and cooking. Her seven year old son, Austin keeps her on the move and she will tell you that motherhood is her greatest achievement in life.
 
Having moved to Craig from Durango in January 2008 to join the Mountain West team, Melanie is enjoying all of the natural beauty of the Yampa Valley and the friendly people who reside in the area.

Joan Medvesk - Personal Lines Account Manager                                                               

Joan is a native of the Yampa Valley. She graduated from Hayden High School and went to work at the Yampa Project-Craig Station during its construction on Unit 1 and 2. After the power plant was completed, she went to work at the Yampa Mine. While working at the mine, she married her husband Gary and started her family. Joan has three children. Kim is 20, Jeni is 18 and Graig is 15 and currently a freshman at Hayden High School and one grandchild, Kenyen.  Joan worked for the Yampa Valley Medical Associates and Steamboat Springs Family Medicine physicians when they started seeing patients in Hayden. Joan joined the Mountain West team in 2002 and works in the Hayden office.

 

 

 Leah Hulce - Personal Lines Account Manager 
 

Leah grew up in Hawaii and graduated from college in Honolulu. She has lived in Tokyo, Sacramento, Dallas and Los Angeles. She recently moved to Meeker to be closer to her father who lives in Meeker and her 2 adult children who live in Denver. She has worked in aerospace, telecommunications and non-profit companies and brings her broad experience to her position with us. In her spare time she enjoys reading and most kinds of needlework.  Leah joined the Mountain West team in 2007 and works in the Meeker office.

 

 

Nick Bomba- Health Insurance Agent                                                              
 
Nick came to Mountain West in September of 2007. He graduated from Moffat County High School and went on to Western State College were he was a member of the basketball and track and field team teams. Nick graduated in 2003 earning a degree in Business Administration. Nick brings business experience and a great attitude to the already impressive Mountain West Team. Nick is looking forward to providing great customer service and health benefits to the Yampa Valley and all of Colorado.
 
 
 
 
  

Steven D. Ahlmer - Financial Advisor

Steve works with individuals, businesses, and organizations to help define financial goals and structure investment and insurance strategies to potentially reach them. He specializes in the areas of managing investment risk, planning for retirement, estate planning and protecting assets. He is an Investment Adviser Representative with ING Financial Partners, Inc.

Originally from Ogden, UT., Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah and completed graduate work in Bio Medical Engineering at Ohio State University. In his spare time, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife, Tami, and their 6 children, who are active in sports and extracurricular activities.
Sandy Frye - Financial Service Assistant
  
Sandy is readily available to help clients with questions about their account statements, forms and procedures. After graduating from Colorado State University with a BS in Mathematics, she began her career in Financial Services support in 1983 with Dean Witter in Denver, CO. She is Registered and holds a Colorado Insurance License in Life, Health and Variable Products.Sandy loves spending time with family enjoying camping, boating, and skiing.

 

 

Shelbie Ades - Financial Service Sales Assistant
 
Shelbie was born and raised in Colorado Springs and graduated from Doherty High School. She moved to Gunnison, Colorado in 2004 to attend school at Western State College of Colorado where she received a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in management in 2008. After she graduated, Shelbie knew she wanted to stay in the Rocky Mountains so she came to the Steamboat Springs and joined the Mountain West team.

 

 

Cliff Reder - Sales Manager                                                               

Cliff recently moved back to Colorado having started in the Financial Services industry in 1990 with Prudential Insurance Co. and Pruco Securities in Minnesota. He transitioned to ING Financial Partners in 1998 and has held positions with the firm and an affliated group, ING Financial Advisers, as a Registered Representative and a Regional Sales Vice President in Minnesota and Northern California.

He received a Business Administration/Marketing Degree from Northwood University in Michigan in 1983. Cliff has also earned the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations and is a Registered Principal and Investment Adviser Representative with ING Financial Partners, Inc.

Cliff has been married to his wife Kathy for nearly 25 years and they have 3 grown children. Cliff is a former Military Officer and Paratrooper in the Army and State Champion Powerlifter. He enjoys all aspects of the outdoors and is looking forward to working as a member of the Mountain West Insurance & Financial Services team.
Randi Mason - Processor
 
Randi was born and raised in Craig. She is married to Roy Mason, who owned and operated Moffat County Lumber for several years in Craig. Their children, Todd and Kayce were also raised in Craig. Randi started her insurance carrier with The Floyd M. Pleasants Agency in 1974 and became a licensed agent in 1978. She continued with Mountain West when they acquired the agency. Currently she has 33 years experience in the business.

 

 

Dana McMillen - Accountant                                                                
 
Dana has been employed with Mountain West since December of 2004 having moved to Craig from Laramie WY in 1994.  She worked with her husband Burl in his business until 2003. They have three children; a daughter Cori now living in Maryland, son Casey living on the PRCA trail majoring in steer wrestling, & son Bret living in Craig with his wife Amanda & new baby girl Raegan. Dana enjoys watching her husband compete in Team Roping, traveling, gardening, spending time with family & spoiling her new granddaughter.
